What is happening in the Summer
The Smoky Mountains are buzzing with events all summer long! Here are some highlights:
- Dollywood’s Summer Celebration (June 14 – August 3): Enjoy extended park hours, thrilling rides, live performances, and nightly fireworks including July 4th at Dollywood.
- United Tastes of America at Anakeesta (May 23 – August 10): A food festival celebrating flavors from across the U.S., with live music and themed decorations.
- Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge (June 5 – 7): A classic car show featuring GTOs, Firebirds, Fieros, and a Saturday Night Cruise.
- A Mountain Quiltfest (June 10 – 12): A gathering of quilters showcasing their craft at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge.
- Patriot Festival in Pigeon Forge (July 4): A free Independence Day celebration with live music, food vendors, and a grand fireworks display.
- Gatlinburg 4th of July Fireworks Finale: This dazzling display lights up downtown Gatlinburg at 11:00 PM and is one of the most popular fireworks shows in the area.
- Sunset Series & Legends Concert Series (May 23 – October 3): Live music performances at the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center in Townsend
